Intel Layoffs 2024 India Employees Affected. Intel revealed plans to cut around 15,000 jobs, which amounts to 15% of its workforce, as a strategic move to save $10 billion by 2025. The majority of layoffs are expected to be completed by the end of 2024, with voluntary retirement and departure options offered to eligible employees. Intel has hinted that most of the layoffs are likely to be in the sales and the marketing departments and not among the core engineering teams.
